So at work we ran out of sleeves for hot, tasty beverages. Which are quite popular at the moment and so if a client asks, we`ll offer them a second cup.
So literally minutes before my shift is over, I`m handing off this woman`s huge latte and she asks me for a sleeve and I tell her, Sorry! We`re out of sleeves but I can give you a second cup if you want.
And she insists no, no I want a sleeve. So I try to explain to again the sleeve situation and she flips out on me saying that if she wanted a second cup sleeve she would have just gone to second cup, and that she was paying big bucks for a big bucks coffee, she wanted her freaking big bucks sleeve. Then left in a huff.
The witnessing customers laughed at it, but I was like, oh my god… Understandable mistake but really?
